Al Wihdat Official Website is Baaaack!

After being away for some time alweehdat.net is finally BACK!

The story started with a disagreement between the forum's supervisors and the club administration. Which made the administration take a decision of closing the website. Now the story does not end here... all the conflicts and arguments were resolved and the site went back online. And suddenly......... the hosting company (located in KSA) shut down the site claiming it (the site) is overloading their server with traffic. They gave us two choices: (1) to rent a separate server and (2) to take the site elsewhere!!!

Their prices were sky-high. So one of my fellow supervisors (Mahmoud Zebdieh) who lives in Miami found a great hosting company in the US and we transferred our site there.

Now you think the story ends HERE.... but it doesn't. Transferring the site gave us (especially my fellow supervisor; the beloved Alaa Naser) a hell of a time. Technical problems all over the place and THAT delayed opening the website for another week or so until all these problems were resolved.

Anyway, what matters now is that alweehdat.net is back like before and even better! Enjoy Wihdat fans; it's there for you and ONLY for you.

من فتح لحماس ويا قلبي لا تحزن

"شهدا الأقصى مع حماس أبطال بترفع الراس" كلمات من أغنية لميس شلش في ألبومها عرس الحرية. بس وين هي الأبطال؟؟؟؟

الأبطال اللي نازلين في بعض عن جنب وطرف؟ الأبطال اللي بيخطفوا بعض؟ الأبطال اللي بيقتلوا وبيجرحوا حتى الأطفال؟ الأبطال اللي حلّوا كل مشاكلهم والقضية الفلسطينية والاعتداءات الاسرائيلية وجوع فلسطينيي الداخل وما ضل عندهم الا الهواش؟ الأبطال اللي نسيوا ثوابت القضية وأهمية الوحدة الوطنية ومعاناة شعبهم من 58 سنة وبدهم يعرضوا عضلاتهم؟

أما يكفينا أن نبكي على أخبار القتل والتشريد والتهديم الذي يحدث على أيدي الاسرائيليين حتى نزيد بكائنا بقتل وتشريد وتهديم (منا وفينا)؟ الأسلحة العزيزة والشحيحة التي يمتلكونها للدفاع عن قضيتهم تحولت فوهاتها لتنصب على إخوانهم وأبناء عمومتهم لاختلاف (المسمى التنظيمي)، ياللمهزلة! ولا تشعر نهائياً –عزيزي المشاهد العربي- بإن هناك ذرة من المحاذير التي لا يمكن أن يمسها أحد منهم،،، فأصبح كل شيء مباح؛ حتى قتل وجرح الاطفال بنيران صديقة. استباحوا ساحات وشوارع غزة التي طالما قاموا بالدفاع عنها، أين المنطق أوحتى اللامنطق في ذلك؟ اشتباكات ومناوشات وقتلى وجرحى يومياً ومن أجل ماذا؟ أهو الكرسي؟ الله يلعن أبو الكراسي!

وأنا أخرج من مكتبي اليوم أتاني أحد زملائي العرب،
وقال: شفت شو عم بيصير في غزة؟
قلت: طبعاً شفت.
قال: وشو رأيك؟
قلت: يعني شو فكرك ممكن يكون رأيي؟
قال: يعني قصدي انت مع مين، حماس ولا فتح؟
قلت: أنا لا مع هظول ولا مع هظول.
قال: يا أخي لا تظلك تراوغ، يعني انت برأيك مع مين الحق؟
قلت: طالما في دم فلسطيني يراق وناس تروّع وحارات تستباح فش حدى ممكن يكون على حق.
قال: طيب بلاش.... على مين الحق؟
قلت: الحق على أي فلسطيني بيرفع بارودته بوجه فلسطيني.
قال: يعني بأصل المشكلة، مش الحق على فتح لإنها خنقت حماس؟
قلت: السياسة وصراعاتها وعلاقاتها إشي، والدم إشي ثاني.
قال: يعني الحق على حماس؟
قلت: قلتلك الحق على أي فلسطيني بيرفع بارودته بوجه فلسطيني.
قال: وبعدين معك!!! يعني ما بدك تقللي شو رأيك باللي بيصير.
قلت: ما أنا قلت شو رأيي بس إنت ما عجبك!
قال: شكلك خايف ولا في سبب معين مخليك ما بدك تحكي، إنت حر!
قلت: يا صاحبي، لما الأخ يقتل أخوه تسقط كل المخاوف والاسباب والاعتبارات، وتسقط كل الآراء والتحزبات والتوجهات الفكرية والتنظيمية. لما الدم الفلسطيني يراق على أيادي فلسطينية معناها مبروك يا اسرائيل ولا تسألني شو رأيك لإنه رأيي ما رح يفرق بهالمصيبة اللي إحنا فيها. والله يستر إذا ظل أشي ينستر بهالأمة!

Finally got it!!!

I've been living in Riyadh now for about a year and a half, and since the first day I was trying to get a good picture of the Faysaliyah Tower but couldn't. I finally was able to do it! And to say the truth it was extremely easy but I've never thought of the place I took the picture from before.

The reason why I've always wanted to take this picture is that I like the looks of it and the theme it's giving the city (along with the Kingdom Tower).

Anyway, hope u'll like it!

Just found that the Jordanian aggregator Sawtona had added my blog. So excited about it and I hope this will make me write more and more since I'll be expecting some traffic on my blog now.
